The Vocal Booth
Created by Moldover for The GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles.
The Grammy Museum’s Sonic Playground exhibit features a new experience Moldover designed called The Vocal Booth. The experience is virtually hosted by artist H.E.R., who explains how everything works, offers singing tips, and a little inspiration. Select one of the licensed tracks from Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Pharrell Williams, or Shakira (which have all been specially tweaked from the original stems) and get ready to sing your heart out. The Endlesss Beat Machine
Tim Exile founded Endlesss a few years ago, developing a killer collaborative music making app by the same name, based on Tim's bespoke performance instrument, The Flow Machine. Now he's created a hardware machine around Endless called The Endlesss Beat Machine in the form-factor of an arcade game cabinet. Endlesss has sold one to NBA star Baron Davis, and is offering more as custom-built machines for your studio, museum, or social space. Get all the details on The Beat Machine page.

The Octamasher, Remixing the Nation
The Octamasher is a one-of-a-kind instrument created by Moldover that re-purposes eight electronic keyboards into an interactive octagonal sound installation. Instead of playing musical notes, the keys trigger song loops and pre-programmed beats, enabling up to eight participants to co-create an ever-changing musical remix.
For Remixing the Nation, Jesse Stewart has outfitted the Octamasher with a sample bank consisting of hundreds of meticulously-edited samples drawn from Canadian music and popular culture.
Jesse Stewart is a musician, sound artist, community builder and Carleton University music professor. He is renowned for his inventive and inclusive performances on a wide variety of instruments, including the Octamasher!

UniLooper by Tim Thompson
The UniLooper is a four-track MIDI looper that does visuals as well, using the pitch, channel, and velocity of the MIDI notes to control the position, behaviour, and size of heavily-processed visual sprites. The result is geometric mayhem, perfectly synced to the music being played and looped. The LinnStrument is used as the controller.

Isotonik Arcade
Isotonik Arcade by Mark Towers
Mark converted his Asteroids Max for Live device into a four player jambox for Leicester UK's 2015 Make Sound Festival. It offers a 4-player mini arcade cabinet housing 4 x LaunchPad Mini Controllers provided by Novation, all powered by the Isotonik Asteroids device. This is a custom version of the device that allows 4 LaunchPads to run at the same time on individual tracks. Arduino was used for the arcade buttons which also talk to the Max for Live device.
